Talor “The Swift” Wetere is a Mixed Martial Artist who has been training and competing nationally in various MMA events. He trains out of Lions Den Ministries in Whangarei.
He currently holds the Shuriken NZ's Amateur Lightweight Title since April 2016 and defending it in November 2016 as well as the SFS Amateur Lightweight Title since May 2017. Talor began learning MMA under Ryan Anderson in 2011 and has competed in various Grappling and MMA events as an amateur fighter since 2013.
Talor is a proud husband and father, which give’s him huge motivation to succeed in all that he does. He enjoys mentoring and encouraging youth. He lives his life as an ambassador for Jesus – setting an example by the way he lives.
Talor has some more amateur fights in the pipeline in Australia and NZ for 2017 and is aiming to go Pro in 2018, so WATCH THIS SPACE.
